This landed in my mailbox on Thursday. Came in the mail? That looks like a quilt, you say?
Nope! It's a computer case for my laptop, featuring a pic of one of my very own quilts! If you're intrigued, check out Caseable. They'll make all kinds of cool accessories for your tech devices. And this was a gift, not a sponsored post! ☺
And more custom stuff! This time it's my very own quilt labels from Mommie Made It (Etsy). Who knows what these might lead to?
And just one more non-fabric thing to show you... a phone case. But doesn't that pattern seem familiar?
That's because it's one of the fabrics from my Toes in the Sand quilt I don't know that the original intent was to use fabric in it, but that's what I'm doing! I used some freezer paper to give it a little body and to make it easier to trace and cut the shape of the cover. Doesn't Himself find good stocking stuffers?
I ordered some lovely fabric from Tactile Fabrics (Etsy) during the post Christmas sales and had it delivered to the Rents US address. But then I had to wait... oh, the waiting. I wish someone would develop a way for the fabric to just shoot out of your computer once you've ordered it. How Jetsons would that be?
First up, the browns! These were intended for Young B's Oh Deer quilt, but it would appear I overshopped for this one. Oh well. Guess I'll have to use that Lucky Penny, Semi-Sweet Pearl Bracelet, and Hot Chocolate Honeycomb for something else!
Then some Glimma from Lotta Jansdotter. in the clearance section, no less! I've been admiring these prints on-line for a while and the prices were too good to pass up!
Then there's my random pile - Stof Uno Rain (in grey), more Pearl Bracelet (in River Bend), and Felicity Small Circles (in blue)
These are all whirling away in the washer as I type. Oh what will I make?
I'm linking up today with the wild and fabulous Molli Sparkles. This blog is a new one to me, but if you're looking for a unique quilt-y point of view, you gotta check out this one.

Very nice browns! People don't use nearly enough brown in quilts. Oh, and that Stof rain print is fantastic - I'd never seen that one before.
