Sunday Stash - The end of an era...

Well, it's the end of an era if 6 months can be considered an era! This is the last of my lovely bundles from Le Club, a production of Fridays Off Fabric.
From top to bottom: Tweed in Iron, Triangles in Orchid, Timeless Treasures Crosshatch Sketch in Grey, Diamonds in Mustard, a grey print from Lotta Jansdotter's Glimma line, and Tweed in Stone. They're mostly from Camelot Cottons, except the Crosshatch Sketch.
I did say that once my Christmas gift ran out, I might continue the subscription. Reality is that I'm just not sewing enough (witness no blog posts at all this week...) to justify monthly squishy envelope deliveries. No matter how lovely the contents. Many thanks to Alanna at Fridays Off for her thoughtful inclusion of selvages (I do love a good selvage!) as well as her hand written notes each month! And of course, to the Zs for the Christmas present that just kept on giving!

I'd be linking up with the fabulous Molli Sparkles, only it appears that Sunday Stash has gone missing! I hope our Molli hasn't fallen into a vat of glitter! Or joined Fabricaholics Anonymous. What have I done!?!

Edit: Molli made a triumphant return on Monday, so I linked up with...

  2. What a great gift the subscription was - this is a pretty fabulous bundle. I did notice Molli seems otherwise busy; I bet there will be a good story. :)

  3. That was such a thoughtful gift! It's always bittersweet when it's over. My BOM is over too and it was a bit sad. Squishy packages are so addictive! Beautiful fabrics!

  8. I agree, although I seem to regularly buy fabric (faster than I sew), the commitment of a monthly club just doesn't feel right. However, things may change...

  9. Beautiful fabric to finish off your sub, it is very sad, I recently had to cancel a quilt mag subscription, I found it was getting repetitive and I was reading it in a couple of hours... maybe I should replace it with a fabric club??? :)

  10. I was given a fabric club subscription for Christmas too. Receiving the mystery parcels every month is such FUN, but I have to sew much faster, I think, to justify all the goodies that keep arriving at my door.
