Sunday Stash - And the slide down the slippery slope continues...

Okay. Here it is. My name is Jenn and I'm a Fabricaholic. It's been less than a day since my last fabric purchase and there are more squishy envelopes scheduled to arrive. I have fallen, dear reader. I have fallen. Hard. It's a long way down the slippery slope from this triumphant post.
These juicy Konas look even better when arranged more carefully. Yum. From left to right, that's Ice Peach, Primrose, Lilac, Rose, Plum, Deep Rose, Burgundy, Brick, Garnet, Sienna, Lipstick, Flame, Cedar, Yarrow, Butterscotch, Cheddar, and, last but not least, Pickle (just for you, Molli!)
But I really needed all these lovely Konas! Every last one. You see, I cooked up this little project using Palette Builder 2.1 over at Play Crafts. Have I mentioned how much I love this tool/toy? So far I'm up to 24 palettes for this particular project.. requiring no less than 70 different Konas. I hope I can finish it in time for my deadline... if only so that I can share it with you. Pssst... it's in the Quilting Project Protection for the moment.

I'm sorry to say, there wasn't much need involved with the next two fabrics.
My LQS doesn't stock much laminate, so when I saw these lovely prints, I knew I needed to snap them up for the stash. One never knows when they might come across a project that needs lovely laminate. So the Dear Stella print above has no purpose... yet. And this one?
It's destined to become bibs for my own Thing 1 and Thing 2. They are messy little eaters! How long can I get away with using DT as an excuse for fabric purchasing? ☺

I'm linking up today... in all my shame... with Sunday Stash @ Molli Sparkles. So much fabric, so much need to sleep. I need Hermione's Time-urner.

P.S Speaking of Time-Turners, it's not to late to pop over to Throwback Thursday {Volume 1} and link up. Then you can say you were in from the beginning... and there's a giveaway!

Sunday Stash - Off the wagon again...

Hi. My name is Jenn and it's been four days since my last fabric purchase. I fell off the Fabricaholics Anonymous wagon this week.

First up, a little something from Pile O Fabric! I was in dire need of a few notions for the next few blocks of Technicolor Galaxy. Those cute little packages are pre-cut stabilizers for the July Orange Peel and August Hexie Flowers.
This bit of lime green loveliness was in the sale bin. I couldn't just leave it there, now could I? Is it wrong how much I love getting fabric from Pile O Fabric? I don't need to worry about selvages to remember the designer and collection. Or where I ordered it from?
And there was this cool sticker! There's always a little something fun tucked into a Pile O Fabrics order!
The envelope from Sew Sisters was much squishier! They've got 20% off Carol Friedlander Doe until the end of July and Q-D and I just couldn't resist.
From left to right, there's Blueprint in Blue, Triangles in Black, Striped Columns in Sage, Woven in White, and Woodgrain in Sky. This is the one I've been waiting on...
I've decided to take a leap into garment sewing... for myself! After successfully making a number of pairs of Big Butt Baby Pants for BT and a Geranium Dress for GT, I feel like I'm ready to take on one of Mae by Rae's patterns for myself. I had hoped to participate in the Beatrixalong for her newest pattern, but it just didn't come together this week. Maybe next week... I look forward to reading through all her helpful blog posts soon!

At least I can say that the small additions to my stash this week all have a purpose and a plan! Yay me! I'm linking up today with Molli "The Enabler" Sparkles who's making me want some Dove Aurifil. I am so damned suggestible.

Sunday Stash - But they were free...

Since my Fabricaholics Anonymous post, I've been evaluating my fabric purchasing. I know, I know, how many posts have you read about working from your stash, blah, blah, blah. But seriously people... I have enough fabric. I could probably quilt an addition on my house.

That said, here's a little fabric eye candy that made it's way into my stash last week. Some lovely Cotton & Steel - Dottie's Cousin Lime, Dottie's Cousin Mint, Hot Cross Buns Natural (all from Rashida Coleman-Hale's Mochi Line), and Study Hall from the Black & White Collection.
I just love the messages on these pencils... "As ye rip so shall ye sew" ☺
And the selvages!
I know what you're thinking... how is this not adding to your stash? Well, I won it! Thanks to my January Finish in ALYOF, I won a 15$ gift certificate to Fat Quarter Shop. And I showed remarkable restraint and only went a little over!

On-line fabric purchases since beginning Fabricaholics = 0$ (I ordered this well before I began FA)
Visits to LQS since last Sunday Stash Post = 0
Projects made entirely from materials on hand this week = 1 (Don't worry... you'll see it soon!)

Can you do it? Can you stop whenever you want to? I dare you...
